GEL STAINS

AQUA-TONE CLEAR STAIN BASE

A clear binder that you add colorant to create a water-based stain. Used as a wood conditioner in some applications.

AQUA COAT BLOTCH BARRIER

Produces a uniform stain color on porous wood and prevents blotching. Holds down grain raise and controls penetration of stains into the wood substrate. Seals and stabilizes the wood. For interior or exterior use.

AQUA COAT STAIN BASE

Stain base that you can add colorant; with a built-in clear topcoat.

BRUSHABLE URETHANE VARNISH

A polyurethane/acrylic blend especially formulated for brushing. Apply to any interior wood surface. For best results use a premium grade synthetic bristle brush.

AQUA-SEAL

A penetrating, easy-to-sand amber-toned sanding sealer. Similar to an orange shellac. Not recommended on plywoods.

AQUA COAT “X-119″ SANDING SEALER

A clear, high-build sanding sealer for use under all Aqua Coat topcoats.

AQUA COAT BLACK

A rich, jet black acrylic, spray finish for all interior surfaces.

AQUA COAT WHITE

Fast drying-high build, commercial grade coating for spray application to all interior surfaces. Designed for cabinets, furniture, mill work, and mouldings. Primer works well on MDF, particle board, plywood, and all porous surfaces.

TRANSPARENT TONERS

To be added to any Aqua Coat clear topcoat to simulate the warmth and depth of the “old” shellac, varnish, and oil finishes. Amber, Red, and Yellow.

REDUCER/THINNER

Used in place of water to reduce the viscosity of all Aqua Coat products. Helps to elimante “orange peel” and other surface imperfections caused by under-atomization.

RETARDER/ADDITIVE

Used to slow the dry time of the Aqua-Tone stains, for more open time for wiping on intricate or larger pieces. Also, used to slow down the dry time of the final topcoat for better flow-out, reduced overspray and overall appearance of the final finish.

EQUIPMENT CLEANER

A non-hazardous cleaner for spray guns, pressure pots, hoses, and all other finish equipment.

CONCENTRATED TINTING COLORS

Industrial strength colorants for making custom stains; used in conjunction with Aqua-Tone “Clear Stain Base” or added to the stock Aqua-Thane Stains for color matching. Can also be blended into the “Clear Glaze Base” to make a premium quality glaze. This mixture also makes an excellent wipe-on touch up product for existing worn on damaged finishes on doors, cabinets, windows, furniture, and all other previously finished surfaces.

NATURAL WOOD PUTTY

CLEAR GRAIN FILLER

Easy-to-sand gel grain filler for filling the pores in woods; such as oaks, ash, and hard-to-fill woods. Can be use on raw wood or after staining, sealers, or topcoats.

CROSS-LINKER

Our cross-linker is recommended to be used with our Aqua-Thane if you want to further increase the physical properties of the finish and to create a film that is as tough as nails. Pot life of the cross-linker top coat mix is about 2-3 days.
