Inlay Drop Leaf Table Built By Our Customer Bill Carriker

Bill Carriker built this table from scratch, using a single board of South American Mahogany. He didn’t use plans but did incorporate traditional period concepts for building a drop-leaf table. An experienced woodworker for nearly 50 years, Bill was able to hand carve the ball and claw foot at the end of each cabriole leg. Check out the stunning starburst center inlay and the Satinwood banding around the table edges. Bill used Aqua Coat Grain Filler in the finishing process which he says worked beautifully on the mahogany. Thank you Bill for sharing your table photos with us.
