George Vondriska and Woodworkers Guild of America performed a chemical resistance test using Aqua Coat Top Coats - Aqua Coat Lacquer, Aqua Thane, and our Table/Bar Top Finish.  They know how important woodworking projects are and the finishes that are applied to them.  

George tested highly acidic products such as lemon juice, grain alcohol, coffee, ketchup, mustard, vinegar and orange juice on our finishes to see how they performed.  The test he administered is the same one that is done through KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association).  After letting most of these products sit for over 24 hours, they were impressed at the results.  This experiment showed how Aqua Coat's water-based finishes are as durable as solvent-based and how the finishes held up under pretty extreme conditions.
