How to apply Aqua Coat Products: Tools and Techniques
Aqua Coat’s water-based finishes are designed for versatility and ease of use. Whether you're coating a musical instrument, refinishing furniture or sealing cabinetry, choosing the right application method ensures a smooth, professional result. Here's a breakdown of recommended tools for each product:
Aqua Coat Grain Fillers: Work generously into open wood grain and pores with a small squeegee, plastic applicator, old credit card or fingers with a glove. Can also be applied with a cotton rag or a soft cloth.
Aqua Coat Topcoats and Sanding Sealers: Ready to use and does not require thinning. Can be applied by spray, high quality synthetic brush to avoid brush marks or foam pad.
Aqua Coat Stains: Can be applied by spray, foam pad, high quality synthetic brush to avoid brush marks or wiped with a rag.
